Cola 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Cola in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 8 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Cola is allowed to say
Cola prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.68 per 10 ml.
Cola in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: cola in Nouméa works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cola 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested cola in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where cola goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing cola with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
