Herbal squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Herbal in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Herbal squonk mod here
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Herbal prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.21 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a herbal squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Herbal squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested herbal in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long herbal in Nouméa survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.21 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF65 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does herbal in a squonk mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
