Guava squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Guava in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 5 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Guava sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
We run guava the same way in Nouméa: same squonk mod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested guava in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where guava goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How long does guava in a squonk mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
