Guava box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Guava in Nouméa: 15 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
Guava in Nouméa reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.65 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a guava box mod really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on guava: 15 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested guava in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where guava goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
How long does guava in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
