Frozen squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Frozen in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
Frozen sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Frozen prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.82 per 10 ml.
How we tested frozen in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.82 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
