Cream 60 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Cream in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the cream habit
We run cream the same way in Nouméa: same 60 ml bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Cream prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.57 per 10 ml.
The short version: cream in Nouméa works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cream 60 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at cream in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 60 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested cream in a 60 ml bottle
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a cream bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where cream goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
