Frozen pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Frozen in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Frozen pen device here
Frozen in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen pen device really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at frozen in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested frozen in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Mixing frozen with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.89 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
