Cola starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Cola in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 2 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
A cola starter kit from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.6 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: cola in Nouméa works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cola starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Cola in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested cola in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cola bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where cola goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.6 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
