Plum 60 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Plum in Nouméa: 15 units tested over 5 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plum habit
The honest read on plum: 15 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Plum in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the 60 ml bottle you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum 60 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Plum in Nouméa reaches the shelf in 60 ml bottle formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested plum in a 60 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 60 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here

Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
