Coffee pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Coffee in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 2 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a pod kit for coffee
Coffee prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.75 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at coffee in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a coffee pod kit really costs in Nouméa
We run coffee the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested coffee in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.75 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coffee tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
How long does coffee in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On coffee the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.75 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should coffee start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
