Coffee 10 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Coffee in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 5 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a 10 ml bottle for coffee
We run coffee the same way in Nouméa: same 10 ml bottle, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Coffee sounds like one product. It is not: a 10 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: coffee in Nouméa works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coffee 10 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa

How we tested coffee in a 10 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for 10 ml bottle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 10 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coffee tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing coffee with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
