Coconut mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Coconut in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Coconut is allowed to say
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Coconut mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: coconut in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coconut mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at coconut in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested coconut in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coconut tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.5 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF41 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On coconut the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.5 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
