Plum in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Plum mesh tank here
Plum mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run plum the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plum mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at plum in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plum in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plum goes wrong
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for plum in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does plum in a mesh tank last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.48 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
