Citrus prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Citrus in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 3 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good prefilled pod from a repack
Citrus prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The honest read on citrus: 7 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: citrus in Nouméa works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.23 per 10 ml.
How we tested citrus in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.23 per 10 ml.
