Citrus pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Citrus in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.19 per 10 ml.
Citrus pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.19 per 10 ml.
How we tested citrus in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.19 per 10 ml.
