Cherry sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Cherry in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 3 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Cherry in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: cherry in Nouméa works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cherry sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
We run cherry the same way in Nouméa: same sub-ohm kit, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested cherry in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.58 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
