Cherry starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Cherry in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Cherry starter kit here
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.54 per 10 ml.
The honest read on cherry: 13 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long cherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cherry starter kit really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested cherry in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a cherry bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.54 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF45 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.54 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
