Candy pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Candy in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 7 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Candy pen device here
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Candy pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a candy pen device really costs in Nouméa
A candy pen device from the value options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.78 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested candy in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where candy goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why candy tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing candy with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should candy start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On candy the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.78 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
