Blackcurrant mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Blackcurrant in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the blackcurrant habit
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.04 per 10 ml.
Blackcurrant in Nouméa reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a blackcurrant mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested blackcurrant in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.04 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should blackcurrant start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
How long does blackcurrant in a mesh tank last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
