Blackcurrant cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Blackcurrant in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 7 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a cartomizer for blackcurrant
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you are looking at blackcurrant in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a blackcurrant cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
We run blackcurrant the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested blackcurrant in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.09 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here

New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
