Blackcurrant box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Blackcurrant in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Blackcurrant in Nouméa reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The honest read on blackcurrant: 14 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant box mod really costs in Nouméa
Blackcurrant sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested blackcurrant in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.8 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF28 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is blackcurrant legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
