Vanilla vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Vanilla in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 3 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.4 per 10 ml.
The honest read on vanilla: 11 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: vanilla in Nouméa works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla vape pen really costs in Nouméa
Vanilla in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested vanilla in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does vanilla in a vape pen last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should vanilla start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On vanilla the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.4 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
