Vanilla squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Vanilla in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a squonk mod for vanilla
Vanilla in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Vanilla sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Vanilla in Nouméa reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested vanilla in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long vanilla in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here

New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should vanilla start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.83 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF51 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
