Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Vanilla in Nouméa reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run vanilla the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a vanilla prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Vanilla prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested vanilla in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.39 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing vanilla with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
