Vanilla prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Vanilla in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 2 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Vanilla is allowed to say
We run vanilla the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a vanilla prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Vanilla in Nouméa reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested vanilla in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing vanilla with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.

New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.09 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF63 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
