Vanilla pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Vanilla in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
Vanilla in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.15 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla pen device really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on vanilla: 19 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested vanilla in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for vanilla in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should vanilla start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
