Vanilla e-liquid bundle IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Vanilla in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 9 weeks, e-liquid bundle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Vanilla is allowed to say
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.17 per 10 ml.
We run vanilla the same way in Nouméa: same e-liquid bundle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the e-liquid bundle you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla e-liquid bundle really costs in Nouméa
Vanilla in a e-liquid bundle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested vanilla in a e-liquid bundle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the e-liquid bundle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for e-liquid bundle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Mixing vanilla with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a e-liquid bundle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Packaging for vanilla in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
