What a tropical sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
Tropical sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested tropical in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.65 per 10 ml.
