Tropical sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Tropical in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 2 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Tropical sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.33 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
Tropical in Nouméa reaches the shelf in sub-ohm kit formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested tropical in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Nouméa survives.
