Tropical refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Tropical in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 6 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good refill pack from a repack
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.5 per 10 ml.
Tropical in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Tropical refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested tropical in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.5 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
