Tropical RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Tropical in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.49 per 10 ml.
Tropical RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 16 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical RDA really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on tropical: 16 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested tropical in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Treating the advertised XPF56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.49 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
