Tropical 10 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Tropical in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 9 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a 10 ml bottle for tropical
A tropical 10 ml bottle from the online options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.65 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run tropical the same way in Nouméa: same 10 ml bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: tropical in Nouméa works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical 10 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a 10 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested tropical in a 10 ml bottle
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the 10 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 10 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.65 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest 10 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
