Tobacco sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Tobacco in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 5 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Tobacco in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
We run tobacco the same way in Nouméa: same sub-ohm kit, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long tobacco tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tobacco sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.8 per 10 ml.
How we tested tobacco in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Mixing tobacco with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tobacco tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
