Tobacco starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Tobacco in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a starter kit for tobacco
A tobacco starter kit from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.54 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long tobacco tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tobacco starter kit really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on tobacco: 23 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested tobacco in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tobacco bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tobacco tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing tobacco with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should tobacco start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
Why does tobacco taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
