Tobacco 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Tobacco in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 8 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the tobacco habit
A tobacco 30 ml shortfill from the online options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.07 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.07 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long tobacco tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tobacco 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at tobacco in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested tobacco in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tobacco in Nouméa survives.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

In Nouméa we measured 8 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.

Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tobacco the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.07 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
