Sweet RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Sweet in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good RDA from a repack
If you are looking at sweet in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Sweet sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sweet RDA really costs in Nouméa
We run sweet the same way in Nouméa: same RDA, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested sweet in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sweet in Nouméa survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.21 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sweet start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.21 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF56 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
