Sweet prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Sweet in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with sweet in New Caledonia
We run sweet the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Sweet prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.32 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long sweet tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sweet prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at sweet in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested sweet in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a sweet bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Mixing sweet with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sweet in Nouméa survives.
