Spiced starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Spiced in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 3 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
A spiced starter kit from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.73 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run spiced the same way in Nouméa: same starter kit, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 16 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a spiced starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Spiced in Nouméa reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested spiced in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.73 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
Is spiced legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
How long does spiced in a starter kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
