Spiced squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Spiced in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Spiced squonk mod here
Spiced squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.24 per 10 ml.
The short version: spiced in Nouméa works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested spiced in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.24 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long spiced in Nouméa survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.

Frequently asked questions
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.24 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF47 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should spiced start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
