How to tell a good prefilled pod from a repack
If you are looking at spiced in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The honest read on spiced: 21 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a spiced prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested spiced in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.77 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long spiced in Nouméa survives.

Frequently asked questions
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.77 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF38 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should spiced start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
