How we tested Spiced pen device here
The honest read on spiced: 6 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Spiced in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a spiced pen device really costs in Nouméa
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.11 per 10 ml.
How we tested spiced in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a spiced bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On spiced the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.11 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
