How we tested Spiced pen device here
We run spiced the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Spiced pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: spiced in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced pen device really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at spiced in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested spiced in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.24 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
