Spiced box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Spiced in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a box mod for spiced
The honest read on spiced: 12 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Spiced in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: spiced in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced box mod really costs in Nouméa
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.01 per 10 ml.
How we tested spiced in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a spiced bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing spiced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
