What a spiced 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
We run spiced the same way in Nouméa: same 30 ml shortfill, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested spiced in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Mixing spiced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On spiced the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.24 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.24 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF46 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
