Sourcherry starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Sourcherry in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sourcherry habit
Sourcherry in Nouméa reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Sourcherry starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: sourcherry in Nouméa works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Sourcherry sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested sourcherry in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.31 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
