Sourcherry starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Sourcherry in Nouméa: 15 units tested over 9 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Sourcherry in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long sourcherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sourcherry starter kit really costs in Nouméa
We run sourcherry the same way in Nouméa: same starter kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested sourcherry in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sourcherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.18 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
