Sourcherry RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Sourcherry in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 4 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sourcherry habit
We run sourcherry the same way in Nouméa: same RDA, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Sourcherry RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long sourcherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sourcherry RDA really costs in Nouméa
Sourcherry in Nouméa reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested sourcherry in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sourcherry tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should sourcherry start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.44 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF52 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
