Sourcherry pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Sourcherry in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sourcherry habit
The honest read on sourcherry: 12 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Sourcherry pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: sourcherry in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry pod kit really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested sourcherry in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.77 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sourcherry in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sourcherry start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
How long does sourcherry in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sourcherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.77 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
