Sourcherry nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Sourcherry in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 8 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sourcherry habit
Sourcherry in a nicotine salt bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you are looking at sourcherry in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the nicotine salt bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: sourcherry in Nouméa works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry nicotine salt bottle really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested sourcherry in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a nicotine salt bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sourcherry tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a nicotine salt bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.55 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF28 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should sourcherry start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
