Sourcherry cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Sourcherry in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 7 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
The honest read on sourcherry: 18 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run sourcherry the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: sourcherry in Nouméa works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Sourcherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.02 per 10 ml.
How we tested sourcherry in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sourcherry tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.02 per 10 ml.
